Sourced from a single vineyard on the northern edge of the Barossa Valley, the Marble Quarry Rd vineyard is grown on deep red clay loam soils. The palate is richly textured with layers of fine tannins which provide extraordinary length and persistence - the hallmark of the deep red clay loam from the Marble Quarry Rd vineyard. The 2012 vintage was exceptional in the Barossa resulting in wines with seamless structure and excellent balance of flavour, acid and tannins. Still extremely fresh, with a wonderful balance and long life ahead.

“From a single vineyard on Marble Quarry Road in the Barossa. Matured in seasoned vats of unknown origin. It's a rich, ripe style but it's not overdone and it's no stranger to finesse. Saturated plum, peppercorn and blueberry fruit flavour with a dark, earthen character running beneath. Satiny texture and firm but integrated tannin; it is a beautifully tailored red wine.” 96 points, Campbell Mattinson
